Swinging Big Band Thursdays
Join us in again welcoming the Big Band sounds of the 17-piece Heart of Carolina Jazz Orchestra, who will be playing for us directly after this week’s Southern Village Farmers Market. The orchestra played here last month, and put on an entrancing performance. We’re happy to have them here again!
Buy some treats from the farmers and bakers at the Farmers Market, and maybe a crepe dinner from Parlez Vous Crepe, or get take-out from one of our Southern Village restaurants, then settle in with your picnic, your beverages and your lawn chairs for a night of delightful & rousing music.
The Heart of Carolina Jazz Orchestra will be returning on a Thursday night each month through September, so check back here for more information regarding their schedule.

Are you between the ages of 7 and 18?
Do you create artworks or hand-crafted items?
Would you like to offer some of your creations for sale to the public?
If you answered “Yes” to all 4 of these questions, then Village Pediatrics wants you!Become a participant in their first ever “Super Stars of Village Pediatrics” Sidewalk Art Fair. This is an opportunity for you to satisfy your artistic urges, and at the same time, join your artist friends, and make some money!
