The Fall Fête on the Village Green at Southern Village always marks TerraVita Food & Drink Festival’s grand finale, but this year it will be even grander as the festival celebrates its 10th and final year.
On Saturday, Oct. 19, the Fall Fête will showcase more than 40 chefs and food artisans from across the state of North Carolina. In addition, more than two dozen beverage producers will offer sustainably-sourced beverages from across the globe, including microbrews, spirits, craft sodas, organic coffees, drinking vinegars, and biodynamic, organically-grown, and natural wines.
Participants this year include Pizzeria Toro, French Broad Chocolate Lounge, La Farm Bakery, Crook’s Corner and Fullsteam Brewery.
The Fall Fête will also feature an Artisan Tent – sponsored by Seagrove, the Pottery Capital of the U.S. – with demonstrations by a local potter and samples from makers of chocolate, nut butters, cheeses, jams, pastries, and more. Jean Anderson, author of Kiln to Kitchen (just published by UNC Press), will be on hand for a book signing.
Tickets are $75 (no alcohol) and $90 (alcohol included). This event is on track to sell out in record time. Purchase tickets and learn more at www.terravitafest.com
